Who is CasaKeepr for?

CasaKeepr is designed for any homeowner who wants to manage their property from records, not memory. It is particularly useful for:

• New Homeowners: Get a baseline of what your house needs and establish good habits early.
• Busy Households: Keep recurring tasks, service notes, and costs together.
• Older Homes: Track equipment age, repairs, and replacement plans.
• Homeowners Planning Ahead: Record estimated replacement years and costs for major systems.

How does it work?

Getting started takes about 10 minutes:

1. Add your systems: Input the major parts of your house (HVAC, Pool, Gutters, Appliances).
2. Set up schedules: Review recommended recurring tasks for things homeowners commonly forget.
3. Track and Plan: Receive email digests when things are due, log completion costs, and view long-term system ages.

Do I need to know every detail about my home to start?

No. You do not need model numbers, install dates, or manuals ready to sign up. Start with the basics (like HVAC filter sizes) and add details (like serial numbers or contractor notes) over time as service is performed.

What if I forget a task or delay it?

You can snooze a task to a later date or skip it with a note. CasaKeepr updates the due date and future reminders based on your choice.

What happens when I upload a document or photo?

CasaKeepr can suggest a title, record type, date, cost, manufacturer, model number, and serial number from supported images and PDFs. Suggestions are only a starting point—you review them and choose what gets filed. You can also upload photos directly to systems, emergency locations, receipts, and projects.

Can I share my Home Record with someone else?

Yes. Invite a household member as a viewer who can look things up or as an editor who can help update the record. Each invitation applies only to the home you choose to share.

Can I use my regular calendar?

Yes. CasaKeepr gives you a private calendar subscription for maintenance and project dates that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook. Changes in CasaKeepr flow through the private feed when your calendar refreshes it.

Can I download or delete my account data?

Yes. Open Your Data inside the application to download a complete JSON copy of your profile and Home Records, including uploaded file contents. You can also permanently delete your account there. Active paid subscriptions must be canceled before deletion.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. There are no contracts, setup fees, or cancellation penalties. Go to your Account Settings inside the application, click on Stripe billing portal, and cancel. You will keep full access until your current billing month ends.

Is there a free version?

Yes! CasaKeepr offers a free tier that lets you manage one property and track up to 5 systems or appliances with standard checklists. No credit card is required to sign up, and you can upgrade to Plus or Pro at any time.
