1. Accounts & Property Profiles
To access our service, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the email address provided for notification digests.
- All activities that occur under your user profile.
- Inviting only people you are authorized to share a Home Record with and assigning an appropriate viewer or editor role.
- Keeping private calendar subscription links confidential and replacing a link if it is shared unintentionally.
You retain responsibility for the home information, documents, photos, and other content you upload. If you permanently delete an account, owned Home Records and active account data cannot be restored through the application.
2. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing
We offer access to our platform via monthly or annual subscriptions (e.g., Plus or Pro plans):
- Billing: Stripe processes subscription payments in advance on the monthly or annual schedule you select.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period. You can cancel to stop future renewals.
3. Permitted Use & Account Integrity
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful activities or in a manner that:
- Interferes with, disrupts, or compromises the security and performance of our databases and servers.
- Attempts to scrape, reverse-engineer, or duplicate the software algorithms and layouts.
- Uses automated bots, scripts, or scrapers to access the service without our permission.
4. Limitation of Liability
CasaKeepr is a software tool designed to help you track home features, appliances, and maintenance schedules. We provide recommendations and checklists for educational and tracking purposes:
- Maintenance Actions: You are responsible for inspecting your property, completing services safely, and hiring licensed professionals where appropriate. CasaKeepr is not responsible for any property damage, systems failure, or injuries resulting from your maintenance decisions or any tasks performed.
- Document Suggestions: Suggested titles, dates, costs, product details, categories, or matches created from an uploaded file may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before filing or relying on them.
- Software Availability: The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or complete accuracy of recommended lifespan statistics.
5. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
